We are thrilled to report that our initial foray into using an online format for our single day retreat in September went well. One of the great benefits of going online is that our sister veterans outside of the Sacramento area can join us!

Now online, Veteran Women’s Voices Single-day Retreats build community through writing.

Although VWV cannot have in-person group meetings during the pandemic, we can connect online. We know that women veterans know how to adapt and how to support each other in new situations.

My speaking at this event was not so that others could hear the wisdom of my words (I hope to God that’s not what they expected) but rather, my speaking there showed people the different faces of a Veteran.
